Depending on your arrival time, step out to explore the neighbourhood around your hotel. You can take a short walk through nearby streets, try your first Korean meal, or visit a local café. Areas like Myeongdong or Hongdae are perfect for an easy introduction to Seoul’s vibrant atmosphere.

Day 2

Day 2: Seoul City Highlights & N Seoul Tower

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Seoul with a full-day guided city tour.

Start with a visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest and most iconic palace of the Joseon Dynasty. If timing permits, you may witness the traditional guard changing ceremony, offering a glimpse into Korea’s royal past.

Continue to Bukchon Hanok Village, where centuries-old hanok houses are still preserved. Walk through narrow alleys and experience traditional Korean architecture set against a modern city backdrop.

Head to Insadong, a cultural district filled with art galleries, handicraft shops, and tea houses, before moving to the bustling streets of Myeongdong — a paradise for shopping, street food, and Korean skincare.

Later, visit N Seoul Tower, located atop Namsan Mountain. Enjoy panoramic views of the sprawling city skyline, especially beautiful during sunset or early evening.

Day 4: Seoul to Andong – Journey into Traditional Korea

After breakfast, check out and make your way to the train station for your journey towards Andong.

As you leave behind the fast-paced city, the landscape gradually changes to more rural and scenic surroundings. Upon arrival in Andong, known as the cultural capital of Korea, you’ll immediately notice a slower, more traditional way of life.

Visit Andong Hahoe Folk Village, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This village preserves traditional Korean homes, Confucian culture, and local customs. Walk through its peaceful lanes and observe how history is still very much alive here.

You may also experience traditional performances or local crafts depending on the time of visit.

Day 5: Andong to Gyeongju – The Museum Without Walls

Visit the iconic Bulguksa Temple, a masterpiece of Buddhist architecture set amidst scenic surroundings. The temple’s intricate design and peaceful atmosphere make it one of Korea’s most important cultural landmarks.

Explore the Daereungwon Tomb Complex, where ancient royal burial mounds rise gently from the earth, and walk around the serene Anapji Pond (Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond), especially beautiful in the evening when illuminated.
