Start your day at Jogyesa Temple, a peaceful spiritual center known for its colourful lanterns and serene atmosphere amidst the bustling city.

Continue to Gyeongbokgung Palace (or Deoksugung Palace on Tuesdays), where grand courtyards and traditional architecture reflect the legacy of the Joseon Dynasty. Witness the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony, a highlight that showcases Korea’s royal traditions.

Explore the National Folk Museum to gain insight into traditional Korean life, customs, and history. Later, visit a Ginseng Center or Amethyst showroom to learn about Korea’s traditional products and craftsmanship.

Proceed to the Korean Folk Village, located just outside the city. This open-air village recreates life during the Joseon Dynasty, with traditional homes, cultural performances, and immersive experiences.

Return to Seoul in the evening and relax.

After breakfast, begin your journey towards Jeonju, travelling through historically significant regions of Korea.

En route, stop at Tomb of King Muryeong, a UNESCO-listed site that offers a glimpse into royal burial practices and the sophistication of the Baekje Kingdom.

Continue to Gongsanseong Fortress, a scenic mountain fortress that once protected the royal capital. Walk along its ancient walls and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Proceed to Jeonju, a city known as the cultural heart of Korea.

Explore Jeonju Hanok Village, where hundreds of traditional hanok houses line charming alleys. Discover local crafts, traditional tea houses, and experience Korea’s heritage up close.

After breakfast, continue your journey towards Yeosu through South Korea’s scenic southwest.

Begin with a visit to May 18th National Cemetery in Gwangju, a significant site that reflects Korea’s modern democratic movement and national history.

Later, continue your journey to Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom.
