Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi (Thursday)
Location: Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi, on Thursday, where our representative meets you with a personalised welcome sign after immigration. Get help with your luggage and transfer privately to your hotel in Nairobi for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Arriving the day before means you are rested and ready for an on-time start to the Masai Mara on Friday morning.
Stay: Dusit Princess
Day 2: Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara (Friday)
Location: Masai Mara
After breakfast, you are picked up from your Nairobi hotel at 7:00 AM and taken to the meeting point, where the group safari departs at 8:00 AM. Drive to the world-famous Masai Mara through the Great Rift Valley, with endless landscapes, rolling hills and glimpses of rural life along the way. Check in and enjoy lunch, then head out on your first game drive: elephants moving in herds, lions resting in the sun and zebras streaming across the horizon. As the sun sinks behind the acacias, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
Stay: Lodge or camp of your chosen package
Day 3: Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in the Masai Mara (Saturday)
Location: Masai Mara
Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara, named after the Maasai word for 'spotted', for the trees that dot its landscape. Every hour brings something new: perhaps a cheetah on the hunt, lions and leopards, elephants and buffaloes, or a tower of giraffes grazing among the acacias. For a cultural touch, you can visit a local Maasai village (optional, at an extra cost) to meet the community and learn about their traditions. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
Stay: Lodge or camp of your chosen package
Day 4: Day 4: Masai Mara – Nairobi – Departure (Sunday)
After breakfast, check out and return to Nairobi on the group safari, which ends in the city.
