After check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure: relax at your accommodation, enjoy the gardens or take a gentle stroll, depending on your arrival time. Meet your safari guide, review the route and prepare for several days of wildlife exploration.

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees, open savannah, seasonal swamps and large elephant herds. Spend the full day exploring with your guide, looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and antelope; lions and leopards may also be spotted. The Tarangire River draws animals, especially in the dry season.
